Abstract


Realisasi program bus listrik Kampus ITS merupakan bagian rencana dari ITS Eco Campus dalam pengadaan sistem transportasi kampus yang terintegrasi serta ramah lingkungan. Namun, konsep bus listrik yang telah ada sebagai ‘brand image’ transportasi massal di lingkungan Kampus ITS masih kurang menunjukkan citra ITS.  Aspek kenyamanan, keselamatan, serta estetika yang kurang maksimal mengakibatkan belum dioperasikannya secara penuh. Perancangan ditujukan sebagai sajian alternatif bus listrik Kampus ITS. Konsep ecotechnology dalam bentuk dasar heksagonal yang terispirasi dari honeycomb tampak pada carbody rangka, fascia, lampu, serta buritan bus listrik. Carbody interior mengusung konsep lantai rendah yang berguna untuk memudahkan akses penumpang dari trotoar kampus ITS. Konfigurasi interior dibangun untuk memaksimalkan fungsi bus listrik sebgai moda transportasi massal kampus, waktu tempuh cepat dengan frekuensi tinggi, dan berhenti di banyak halte. Gaya desain merujuk pada tren bus listrik modern, unik, dan smart. Sesuai dengan karakter kampus serta mahasiswa ITS yang memiliki keinginan untuk tampil berbeda, modern, serta cerdas . Kehadiran bus listrik Kampus ITS ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kebanggaan serta antusiasme mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan transportasi massal dalam kampus.
