Abstract


Pengaruh penambahan bakteri Bacillus subtilis terhadap biodegradasi DDT oleh jamur pelapuk putih Pleurotus eryngii telah diteliti. B. subtilis ditambahkan ke dalam 10 mL kultur P. eryngii masing-masing dengan jumlah 1, 3, 5, 7, dan 10 mL (1 mL ≈ 1,573 x 108 sel). Recovery DDT dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ekstraksi cair-cair. Analisa jumlah degradasi dan metabolit produk yang terbentuk menggunakan instrumen HPLC dan GC-MS. Degradasi DDT tertinggi ditunjukkan pada penambahan 3 mL B. subtilis dengan jumlah degradasi sebesar 88,26%, sedangkan degradasi DDT terendah terjadi pada penambahan 1 mL B. subtilis dengan jumlah degradasi sebesar 41,84%. Metabolit produk yang dihasilkan dari proses degradasi ini adalah DDD [l,l dikloro- 2,2-bis(p-klorofenil) etana] dan DDE [l,l-dikloro-2,2- bis(p-klorofenil) etilena].
