Konstruksi Model Matematika Pada Terjun Payung Dengan Akrobat Perubahan Posisi Sebelum Parasut Dibuka

Abstract


Konstruksi model matematika dari pergerakan penerjun payung selama di udara sebelum parasut dibuka menggunakan hukum II newton yaitu . Posisi penerjun payung setelah keluar dari pesawat langsung membentangkan badannya sehingga tercipta hambatan udara yang besar. Adanya gaya hambat udara mengakibatkan pergerakan penerjun tidak langsung bergerak turun secara vertikal kebawah namun juga bergeser kearah horisontal dan membentuk lintasan parabola. Kecepatan penerjun semakin ke bawah semakin meningkat sampai pada akhirnya penerjun mencapai kecepatan terminal, yaitu posisi dimana gaya hambat udara besarnya sama dengan gaya gravitasi (gaya berat) penerjun. Pada tugas akhir ini diasumsikan penerjun payung dengan massa 91.6 kg (termasuk peralatan) melompat dari pesawat pada ketinggian 5000 meter dan penerjun mencapai ketinggian  meter pada detik ke 32. Pada detik ini merupakan batas terakhir bagi penerjun payung untuk membuka parasut, karena jika terlambat 1 detik saja bisa membahayakan keselamatan penerjun.
