Pelarutan Fosfat oleh Konsorsium Azotobacter

Abstract


Fosfat merupakan makronutrien yang dibutuhkan oleh tanaman dan berperanan penting dalam metabolisme tanaman. Fosfat di tanah cukup melimpah tetapi sulit diserap tanaman karena dalam bentuk tidak terlarut. Bakteri pelarut fosfat merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengubah fosfat tidak larut menjadi bentuk terlarut. Isolat Azotobacter dari lahan Eco Urban Farming ITS secara individual dapat melarutkan fosfat, tetapi penelitian pelarutan fosfat menggunakan konsorsium Azotobacter belum dilakukan. Konsorsium menggunakan isolat A1b, A3, A6, A9 dan A10. Umur perlakuan ditentukan dengan kurva pertumbuhan. Uji pelarutan fosfat menggunakan medium Pikovskaya dengan sumber fosfat Ca3[PO4]. Fosfat terlarut diukur setelah 7 hari inkubasi dengan metode spektrofotometri dengan panjang gelombang (λ) 690 nm. Setelah 7 hari inkubasi, fosfat terlarut  yang dihasilkan konsorsium relatif tidak berbeda dengan isolat tunggal A1b yaitu 67,59 dan 67,52 ppm, namun keduanya lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan isolat A3, A6, A9, dan A10.
