Isolasi Bakteri Resisten Antibiotik dari Kawasan Mangrove Wonorejo Surabaya

Abstract


Ekosistem mangrove merupakan ekosistem peralihan antara darat dan laut. Keanekaragaman bakteri pada ekosistem mangrove sangat bervariasi termasuk resisten terhadap antibiotik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah isolat bakteri yang diisolasi dari kawasan mangrove Wonorejo Surabaya resisten terhadap antibiotik. Isolasi bakteri menggunakan metode komposit tanah daerah pasang surut, isolat ditumbuhkan pada medium nutrient agar dengan metode pour plate. Uji resistensi antibiotik menggunakan antibiotik kloramfenikol, tetrasiklin, dan ampisilin (30 µg). Berdasarkan warna, bentuk, dan ukuran koloni didapatkan 11 isolat bakteri. Seluruh isolat bakteri resisten terhadap 30 µg antibiotik kloramfenikol, tetrasiklin, dan ampisilin, kecuali pada isolat BW 10 bersifat susceptible terhadap tetrasiklin.
