Imobilisasi Enzim Ligninolitik Kapang Tanah pada Bentonit

Abstract


Limbah cair industri kertas mengandung lignin dalam konsentrasi tinggi. Polimer organik tersebut sulit didegradasi di lingkungan. Lignin dapat didegradasi oleh enzim ligninolitik yang merupakan enzim pendegradasi  lignin. Degradasi limbah cair kertas oleh enzim ligninolitik ini akan lebih efisien jika dilakukan imobilisasi terlebih dahulu terhadap enzim ligninolitik yang digunakan. Imobilisasi enzim ligninolitik dengan menggunakan bentonit  akan dilakukan pada penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruhnya terhadap aktivitas enzim ligninolitik dari konsorsium kapang Gliomastix sp. dan Mycelia sterilia. Teknik imobilisasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adsorpsi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil aktivitas tertinggi enzim ligninolitik terimobilisasi bentonit yaitu laccase 849,54 U/ml, LiP 1227,6 U/ml dan MnP 199,72 U/ml.
