Evaluasi Formasi Menggunakan Data Log dan Data Core pada Lapangan "X” Cekungan Jawa Timur Bagian Utara

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi formasi pada sumur A pada lapangan “X”, cekungan Jawa Timur bagian utara. Data yang digunakan adalah data log dan data core. Estimasi permeabilitas menggunakan beberapa cara yaitu persamaan Timur, Coates Free Fluid Index, dan Persamaan Coates Dumanoir pada data log dan Single Transformation dari hasil crossplot antara permeabilitas core dengan porositas core pada data core. Untuk estimasi permeabilitas menggunakan Single Transformation didapatkan pengelompokan Hydraulic Flow Unit (HFU) dari perhitungan Flow Zone Indicator (FZI), sedangkan untuk estimasi permeabilitas dengan Persamaan Timur menggunakan data saturasi air (Sw). Hasil evaluasi formasi ditemukan letak zona reservoir pada kedalaman 4270 – 4312ft. Terdapat perbedaan hasil dalam perhitungan nilai permeabilitas. Hal tersebut dikarenakan pada estimasi permeabilitas menggunakan data log dan data core yang diperoleh dengan cara dan prinsip yang berbeda. Hasil permeabilitas yang optimum adalah menggunakan data core karena data core mewakili kondisi batuan sebenarnya dan lebih akurat jika dibandingkan dengan data log.
