Abstract


Optimasi tegangan pada proses elektrokoagulasi penurunan kadar kromium dari filtrat hasil hidrolisis limbah padat industri penyamakan kulit telah dilakukan. Proses elektrokoagulasi dilakukan menggunakan elektroda Fe dengan variasi potensial (2 volt, 4 volt, 6 volt, 8 volt, dan 10 volt), waktu elektrokoagulasi  30 menit. Dari data hasil penelitian, diperoleh kadar kromium dalam filtrat hasil hidrolisis limbah padat industri penyamakan kulit sebesar 84,90 mg/L. Tegangan optimum proses elektrokoagulasi terjadi pada potensial 8 volt dengan presentase penurunan kromium dalam filtrate hasil hidrolisis sebesar 98,82%.
