Sintesis Senyawa Aktif Kompleks Mangan(II) dengan Ligan 2(4-nitrofenil)-4,5-difenil-1H-imidazol

Abstract


Kompleks mangan(II) dengan ligan 2(4-nitrofenil)-4,5-difenil-1H-imidazol (1) telah berhasil disintesis. Kompleks yang didapatkan berbentuk kristal jarum berwarna orange tua dengan panjang 794,6 mm dan lebar 52,7 mm. Rumus molekul senyawa kompleks yang terbentuk adalah kompleks [Mn(2(4-nitrofenil)-4,5-difenil-1H-imidazol)3]. Hal ini diperkuat dengan hasil karakterisasi CHN analyzer dan SSA yang menyebutkan bahwa kadar (%) unsur C, H, N dan Mn yang diperoleh secara berturut-turut  adalah 70,13; 4,17; 11,69 dan 5,10 %. Dari karakterisasi FTIR menunjukkan adanya spektra khas vibrasi Mn-O pada bilangan gelombang 486,03 cm-1dan vibrasi Mn-N pada bilangan gelombang 326,06 cm-1. Rumus molekul ini juga diperkuat dengan hasil analisis TGA yang membuktikan bahwa tidak ada kristal air dalam kompleks yang terbentuk. Uji toksisitas senyawa kompleks dengan metode BSLT menghasilkan nilai LC50 sebesar 182,79 ppm.
