Teknik Mitigasi ICI Menggunakan FIR-MMSE FEQ Pada Sistem OFDM Bergerak

Abstract


Efek Doppler yang ditimbulkan pada komunikasi bergerak (mobile communications) menyebabkan terjadinya ICI yang dapat menurunkan kinerja sistem OFDM. Pengaruh ICI dapat dimitigasi dengan menggunakan frequency-domain equalizer (FEQ) dimana koefisien-koefisien tap filter tersebut didapatkan dari hasil perhitungan invers matrik kanal domain frekuensi (matrik G) berukuran NxN. Namun semakin besar ukuran N, perhitungan invers matrik G akan semakin rumit. Sifat banded dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menyederhanakan perhitungan invers matrik G. Dengan mengasumsikan sifat banded pada matrik G, maka hanya Q (Q << N) diagonal pada matrik G yang digunakan pada perhitungan invers matrik G. Berdasarkan sifat banded tersebut, teknik mitigasi ICI yang bernama finite impulse response (FIR) MMSE FEQ dengan koefisien tap sebanyak Q dapat didesain.
