Analisis Persebaran Gas Karbonat Pada Lapangan “Ngawen” Menggunakan Metode AVO

Abstract


Gas bumi merupakan salah satu sumber daya alam ekonomis untuk Indonesia. Sehingga diperlukan adanya peningkatan eksplorasi hidrokarbon, khususnya gas bumi. Salah satu metode untuk pendeteksian keberadaan gas dalam reservoir dengan mengkaji prilaku sinyal refleksi dari batuan reservoir adalah metode AVO (Amplitudo Versus Offset). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menentukan persebaran gas karbonat pada lapangan Ngawen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode AVO (Amplitudo Versus Offset). Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini yaitu nilai Intercept dan Gradien pada kasus gas karbonat, serta Penampang P*G (Intercept*Gradien). Intercept bernilai positif (+) dan Gradien bernilai negatif (-). Pada penampang P*G (Intercept*Gradien) dapat ditentukan persebaran gas karbonat di lapangan Ngawen dengan nilai P*G (Intercept*Gradien) negatif.
