Kajian Penerapan Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) pada Central Processing Plant (CPP) Donggi dan CPP Matindok, Sulawesi Tengah

Abstract


Indonesia menunjukkan komitmennya dalam menurunkan emisi karbon global dengan mengembangkan teknologi carbon capture and storage (CCS). Salah satu lokasi proyek CCS direncanaan berada di Blok Donggi-Matindok, Sulawesi Tengah. Penelitian ini mengkaji potensi penerapan CCS berdasarkan emisi yang dihasilkan dari pabrik pemurnian gas alam di sana, yaitu Central Processing Plant (CPP) Donggi dan CPP Matindok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung efisiensi penangkapan karbon serta membuat potensi rancangan CCS mulai dari penangkapan, transportasi, hingga injeksi karbon. Unit proses dan skema CCS dipilih menggunakan teknik Multi Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA). Perhitungan efisiensi metode penangkapan karbon menggunakan perbandingan aliran CO2 yang masuk, keluar, dan terbuang pada sistem penangkapan karbon. Didapatkan efisiensi penangkapan CO2 yang dihasilkan berada pada rentang 89,1 – 90,1 persen. Metode penangkapan karbon yang dipilih adalah post-combustion dengan teknologi absorpsi kimia. Unit proses utama pada fasilitas penangkap karbon terdiri dari pre-treatment berupa wet gas scrubber (WGS), tangki absorpsi, dan stripper. Transportasi karbon menggunakan pipa menuju sumur Donggi 2 (DNG-2) untuk diinjeksikan dengan konsep enhanced oil recovery (EOR).
