Estimasi Emisi CO2 dari Sektor Energi di Industri Transformator PT XYZ

Abstract
PT XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan di Indonesia yang bergerak dalam bidang manufaktur transformator. Transformator sebagai salah satu komponen penting dalam pembangkit listrik melibatkan sejumlah energi untuk produksinya yang secara nyata berkontribusi terhadap emisi gas rumah kaca (GRK) termasuk emisi karbon dioksida (CO2). Penelitian dilakukan untuk menentukan sumber dan estimasi beban emisi CO2 dari penggunaan energi pada proses produksi transformator. Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup pengumpulan data sekunder meliputi alur produksi dan data konsumsi energi milik perusahaan yang selanjutnya dikonversi dan dihitung untuk menemukan estimasi beban emisi CO2 menggunakan metode perhitungan berdasarkan IPCC Guidance 2006 mempertimbangkan faktor emisi yang berlaku. Selanjutnya, analisis rekomendasi untuk upaya reduksi emisi CO2 dilakukan berdasarkan studi literatur. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa dalam memproduksi transformator, perusahaan menghasilkan emisi CO2 dari penggunaan energi dengan estimasi sebesar 1705,6 ton CO2/tahun pada tahun 2023. Emisi tersebut berasal dari penggunaan energi listrik sebesar 1687,11 ton CO2/tahun 2023 dan pembakaran bahan bakar solar sebesar 18,5 ton CO2/tahun 2023.
