Studi Eksperimen Kinerja Turbin Angin Savonius yang Terintegrasi Dengan Gedung “Studi Kasus untuk Sudu Returning Dekat dengan Dinding Gedung pada Jarak G/D = 1,8200 dan dengan Variasi Kecepatan Angin 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, dan 10 m/s”

Abstract
Indonesia menjadi negara dengan konsumsi energi terbesar di Asia Tenggara seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk. Kapasitas di Indonesia masih didominasi oleh penggunaan energi tidak terbarukan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan energi alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Potensi dari energi baru dan terbarukan (EBT) di Indonesia tersedia dalam jumlah yang cukup besar. Energi alternatif yang memiliki potensi adalah energi angin. Energi angin dengan kecepatan rendah dapat dimanfaatkan menggunakan turbin angin Savonius. Dikarenakan efisiensi turbin angin Savonius yang rendah, maka diperlukan penelitian untuk meningkatkan efisiensinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan turbin angin Savonius yang memiliki 2 blade dengan diameter turbin sebesar 165,2 mm, diameter end plate 321 mm, dan diameter poros turbin sebesa 19 mm. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan G/D = 1,8200; H/L = 1; S/D = 4,91; T/D = 1,16; K/D = 1,31 dengan menggunakan variasi kecepatan angin 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, dan 10 m/s. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penempatan dinding didekat sudu returning pada jarak G/D = 1,8200 mampu meningkatkan performa turbin dibuktikan dengan peningkatan Cp maksimum sebesar 10,67% serta nilai Cm maksimum sebesar 6,3%. Adanya dinding bangunan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan self starting pada variasi kecepatan angin 4, 5, 6, 7, dan 10 m/s.
