Sinkronisasi Waktu Kerja antara Operator Supply Part dan Mainline di Unit Produksi PT.TMMIN (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia)

Abstract

Dalam dunia manufaktur waktu line stop adalah masalah yang besar karena akan mengganggu kapasitas produksi. Data waktu line stop yang disebabkan oleh keterlambatan operator pada bulan April - October 2012 menampilkan bahwa 51.39% terjadi di area supply part. Masalah ini terjadi karena belum ada SOP yang mengatur antara supply part dengan mainline dalam hal pengiriman small part, dan tidak ada visualisasi waktu kerja operator supply part yang sinkron dengan operator mainline. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan menyinkronisasi waktu kerja antara operator supply part dan mainline, dengan cara menambahkan sinyal informasi mengenai waktu kerja operator di area supply part dalam bentuk indikator lampu berbasis PLC. Informasi ini berupa sinyal waktu kerja operator yaitu :start cycle, working process, middle cycle, warning start dan line stop. Setelah adanya penambahan sinyal informasi untuk operator supply part, sinkronisasi waktu kerja operator berhasil dilakukan sesuai standar kerja operator dan sinkron dengan waktu kerja operator mainline yaitu selama 88 detik.Waktu line stop dalam dua bulan terakhir berkurang sebesar 1080 detik dan 1170 detik.
