Analisa Kecukupan Ruang Terbuka Hijau Berdasarkan Penyerapan Emisi CO2 dan Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Oksigen di Kota Probolinggo

Abstract

Ruang terbuka hijau (RTH) memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam mengurangi dampak terjadinya pemanasan global karena kemampuannya dalam menyerap emisi karbon dioksida (CO₂). Hingga saat ini, prosentase penyediaan RTH publik di Kota Probolinggo masih sebesar 13,21% sehingga butuh adanya penambahan luas RTH. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa RTH eksisting di Kota Probolinggo ditinjau dari segi penyerapan emisi CO₂ masih kurang cukup dengan prosentase hanya sebesar 19,17%. Sedangkan berdasarkan pemenuhan kebutuhan oksigen sudah dirasa cukup meskipun prosentasenya hanya 1,77%. Kebutuhan luas RTH di Kota Probolinggo berdasarkan penyerapan emisi CO₂ diperkirakan akan terpenuhi pada tahun 2020 dan berdasarkan pemenuhan kebutuhan oksigen setiap tahunnya justru terus mengalami kekurangan luas RTH.
