Desain Sistem Pompa Untuk Mengurangi Sedimentasi Pada Terminal Domestik PT TPS

Abstract


Padatnya lalu lintas kapal dan layout dermaga yang tegak lurus terhadap arah datang arus dianggap kurang menguntungkan bagi dermaga aktif seperti dermaga domestik PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (TPS) karena sedimen selalu tertinggal area tersebut. Sedimentasi yang cukup tinggi yaitu 100.217,08 m3/tahun menyebabkan terganggunya kapal yang akan berlabuh di dermaga domestik PT TPS. Sistem pompa menggunakan tipe submersible slurry pump dengan menerapkan konsep sand bypassing mobile system dirancang untuk mengurangi sedimentasi pada terminal domestik PT TPS. Pembuangan sedimen menggunakan floating pipe dengan lokasi dumping terletak di darat. Dari ke-enam pilihan sistem pompa, didapatkan sistem yang paling efektif sesuai aspek teknis dan biaya adalah slurry pump 4 (DPF-75BH) dengan kapasitas 192 m3/jam. Sistem ini dapat menyelesaikan pengerukan selama 10 minggu sesuai opsi desain keruk 1 yaitu kedalaman -5 meter pada kade 45-120 meter, kedalaman -6 meter pada kade 120-250 meter, kedalaman –8 meter pada kade 250-450 meter, dengan slope 1:10. Biaya untuk pengerukan ini sebesar Rp. 5.381.240.235,00.
