Abstract
Abstrak—Lumpur IPALD-T memiliki kadar air yang tinggi serta kontaminan yang dapat mencemari lingkungan. Beberapa IPALD-T di Kabupaten Gresik memiliki kendala pengurasan yang tidak teratur karena IPALD-T yang tidak dapat dilewati oleh truk tinja dan jauh dari IPLT. Pengurasan yang tidak teratur menyebabkan penurunan kemampuan penyisihan kontaminan pada IPALD-T. Sehingga, diperlukan adanya pengolahan lumpur skala kecil di sekitar lokasi IPALD-T. Tujuan tugas akhir ini adalah menentukan kriteria desain unit dewatering berdasarkan studi literatur dan melakukan perencanaan pengolahan lumpur skala kecil. Tugas akhir ini menghasilkan kriteria desain unit dewatering dengan ketinggian lumpur berkisar 20-50 cm, ketinggian media filter geotekstil non woven 1-6 cm dengan jenis PET (Polietelena Tereftalat) dan PP (Polypropylene) (continuous filament dan Staple fibre dengan berat 150-500 GSM), ketinggian Media filter pasir diameter 0,2-0,6 setinggi 20-30 cm, dan kerikil penyangga diameter 2-3 cm setinggi 20-30 cm. Hasil perencanaan unit dewatering yang telah dilakukan menghasilkan unit dengan kapasitas 0,335 m3 dengan lumpur setinggi 40 cm, geotekstil non-woven setinggi 6 cm, pasir berdiameter 0,2-0,6 mm setinggi 20 cm, kerikil penyangga berdiameter 2-3 cm setinggi 20 cm, dan geotekstil non-woven 1 cm. Unit dewatering ini direncanakan menggunakan tandon dengan diameter 103,2 cm dan ketinggian tandon 100 cm, serta dilengkapi dengan bak penampung filtrat.
