Analisis Kekuatan Body Terhadap Impact pada Mobil Flood Rescue Vehicle dengan Menggunakan Metode Elemen Hingga

Abstract
Flood rescue vehicle (FRV), sebagai salah satu kendaraan untuk mengevakuasi korban banjir haruslah memiliki struktur body yang kuat agar tidak mudah rusak dan juga mampu melindungi penumpang. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan suatu pengujian untuk membuktikan kekuatan struktur mobil tersebut. Dalam tugas akhir ini dilakukan pengujian tabrak samping atau side crash test pada struktur body secara simulasi menggunakan software ANSYS. Body mobil FRV dimodelkan menggunakan software Solidwork dengan dimensi yang disesuaikan dengan ukuran asli dari mobil FRV. Simulasi pada software ANSYS diawali dengan memasukkan material body FRV dan mengatur kondisi batas yang digunakan, dilanjutkan dengan proses meshing dan uji konvergensi untuk menentukan konvergensi dari hasil proses mesh. Dilanjutkan dengan mengatur initial condition yang disesuaikan dengan pengujian standar FMVSS 214 side pole dan IIHS moving deformable barier. Setelah dilakukan simulasi, diamati hasil deformasi dan energy serapan yang terjadi akibat beban impact sehingga dapat diamati kesesuaian desain struktur body dengan standar produksi yang berlaku. Hasil dari pengujian menunjukkan bahwa desain body mobil FRV lolos standar IIHS, namun memiliki hasil kurang baik pada pengujian tabrak dengan kendaraan bermassa sama dan pada side pole dengan kecepatan maksimal, yang memiliki nilai deformasi sebesar 37,98 cm dan 37,152 cm. Adapun perbedaan hasil simulasi impact dipengaruhi oleh massa dan kecepatan pada kondisi batas simulasi.
