Analisis Umur Fatigue Rubber Spring pada Draft Gear Lokomotif CC300

Abstract
Lokomotif CC300 adalah sarana perkeretaapian yang berfungsi sebagai penarik kereta atau gerbong yang dibuat oleh PT. Industri Kereta Api (Persero) di Madiun, Jawa Timur. Pada lokomotif tersebut, dalam sistem perangkainya, terdapat komponen draft gear sebagai penyerap energi dari pembebanan longitudinal, yang salah satu bagian pentingnya adalah rubber spring. Untuk perawatan rubber spring tersebut perlu diketahui umurnya. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis umur fatik terhadap rubber spring dengan simulasi FEM dengan ANSYS menggunakan structural tools dan fatigue tools. Nilai beban fatik didapatkan dari perhitungan dengan model beban siklik sinusoidal yang didapat dari pendekatan. Material rubber spring yang merupakan natural rubber memiliki karakter tegangan-regangan yang non-linear, sehingga digunakan model Neo-Hookean untuk memodelkannya. Dilakukan 6 simulasi yang masing-masing menghasilkan umur fatik akibat masing-masing variasi kondisi pembebanan yang berbeda, yaitu akselerasi, deselerasi, tanjakan, turunan, belokan, dan saat proses coupling atau menggandeng. Keenam hasil umur fatik tersebut kemudian diakumulasikan menggunakan persamaan Miner’s Rule. Didapatkan hasil umur fatik akibat beban kumulatif pada rubber spring adalah sebanyak 8381,29 siklus kumulatif, atau jika diaplikasikan kondisi tertentu sama dengan 45,8 tahun, atau 6.101.581,17km.
