Implementasi Kontroler P-PI Kaskade untuk Meningkatkan Keakuratan Mesin Bubut CNC

Abstract
Beberapa industri manufaktur skala kecil menengah masih menggunakan mesin bubut konvensional dalam pengerjaan benda kerja karena tingginya biaya operasional yang dibutuhkan untuk sebuah mesin bubut CNC (Computer Numerical Control). Mesin bubut konvensional memiliki kelemahan yaitu ketidakpastian dan ketergantungan hasil produksi pada operator sehingga menyebabkan mesin ini tidak memiliki efisiensi dan produktifitas tinggi. Kualitas benda kerja yang dihasilkan beragam karena keakuratan saat tracking lintasan tidak dapat dicapai dengan baik seperti pada mesin CNC. Kelemahan ini dapat diatasi dengan cara retrofit dengan menambahkan CNC sebagai pusat kontrol sehingga mesin bubut konvensional dapat bekerja secara otomatis selayaknya mesin CNC. Keakuratan saat tracking lintasan ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan kontroler P-PI kaskade sehingga kualitas benda kerja yang dihasilkan menjadi lebih baik. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kontroler P-PI kaskade hasil desain dinilai lebih baik daripada kontroler P-PI kaskade hasil auto-tuning. Tingkat presisi mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai error steady state sebesar 0,88% pada Motor X dan 3,97% pada Motor Z. Error saat tracking lintasan juga lebih kecil dengan nilai indeks IAE sebesar 65.458 pulse pada Motor X dan 82.202 pulse pada Motor Z
