Rancang Bangun Bio 3D Printer Menggunakan Material Biocompatibel Peek

Abstract
Tingkat kecelakaan secara global berada di peringkat ke-8, diantaranya terjadi pada pengguna kendaran roda dua dan menyebabkan fraktur tengkorak. Fraktur tengkorak ini menjadi prioritas utama dalam penanganan medis karena sering menyebabkan kecacatan seumur hidup dengan bentuk defek yang berbeda tiap kasusnya. Dalam penanganan fraktur tengkorak, sudah banyak digunakan cetak langsung custom implant dengan printer 3D berbahan titanium atau polimer, dan untuk “low cost” bagi negara berkembang, sudah terdapat metode molding implant yang dicetak dengan printer 3D.. Saat ini printer 3D paling popular di dunia termasuk di Indonesia adalah teknologi ekstrusi polimer atau sering disebut FDM, karena teknologinya sudah open source. Pengembangan ini disertai juga dengan pengembangan material polimer biokompatibel, seperti PEEK medical grade, sehingga membuka peluang pengembangan printer 3D low cost yang mampu cetak langsung custom implant tengkorak dan kasus medis yang lain. Teknologi FDM memiliki ketelitian rata-rata 0,2 mm. Penggunaan mekanisme corexy pada teknologi FDM dapat membantu ketelitian dimensi cetak. Hal ini disebabkan dari mekanisme belt serta pergerakkan motor x dan y sangat stabil. Penggunaan mekanisme corexy sangat membutuhkan stuktur rangka hypercube agar dapat beroperasi secara optimal. Artikel ini membahas perencanaan kebutuhan motor pada masing sumbu. Perencanaan dilakukan dengan perhitungan manual elemen mesin serta dilakukan pengujian pada bidang xy dengan menggunakan pulpen dengan bidang persegi panjang sehingga memperoleh nilai dibawah 0,2 mm.
