Sistem Pengenalan Text Pada Kemasan Obat untuk Membantu Penyandang Tunanetra dengan Keluaran Suara

Abstract
Memiliki keterbatasan dalam melihat, penyandang tunanetra tidak mampu untuk ditinggalkan atau beraktivitas sendiri, sehingga membutuhkan bantuan orang lain seperti dalam memilih dan menentukan obat yang akan diminum. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dibuat sebuah sistem untuk mengenali nama dari tulisan kemasan obat, serta resep dokter. Sistem dibuat dengan menggunakan Optical Character Recognition oleh Google Vision dan text to speech, yang diaplikasikan menggunakan Raspberry pi dengan kamera dan speaker. Sistem ini memiliki 3 mode yaitu kemasan obat botol, obat box dan obat baru atau resep dokter. Pada kemasan box dan kemasan botol nama-nama obat akan didaftarkan ke indeks sistem sehingga obat box akan memberikan informasi lebih lanjut tentang obat, dan kemasan obat botol akan menggunakan rotator untuk memutar botol sehingga pengambilan gambar akan terus berganti seiring perputaran botol sehingga kata dapat ditemukan, sementara kemasan baru atau resep dokter akan membaca teks secara keseluruhan untuk mengetahui nama dan cara pemakaian obat. Keberhasilan pendeteksian teks pada kemasan obat box dan pipih sebesar 80.6%. Pada kemasan obat botol pendeteksian optimal terjadi pada lebih dari 1 dan kurang dari 2 kali putaran sebesar 57.50%, serta pada resep dokter pembacaan optimal dilakukan dengan penggunaan ukuran tulisan 14 ke atas dengan rata-rata keberhasilan pada ukuran 14 sebesar 87%.
