Analisa Performance Propeller B-Series dengan Pendekatan Structure dan Unstructure Meshing

Abstract


Propulsor (alat gerak kapal) adalah alat yang dapat digunakan untuk memindahkan/ menggerakkan kapal dari satu tempat ke tempat lainnya Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui performa propeller yang dihasilkan untuk kepentingan simulasi computer, akibat perbedaan meshing structure dan unstucture. Performa yang dimaksud adalah trust dan efisiensi propeller. Hal yang paling mendasar mengapa konsep CFD (software CFD) digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan CFD dapat dilakukan analisa terhadap suatu sistem dengan mengurangi biaya eksperimen dan tentunya waktu yang panjang dalam melakukan eksperimen tersebut. Dengan menggunanakan dua tipe meshig tersebut didapatkan jenis meshing unstructure dalam menganalisa performance B-series mempunyai hasil yang lebih baik bila dibandingkan penggunaan jenis mesing structure.
