Desain dan Implementasi Modulator GMSK 19200 Baud untuk Pengiriman Citra pada Payload Satelit Nano

Abstract
Satelit nano merupakan satelit mahasiswa pertama yang sedang dikembangkan di beberapa perguruan tinggi di Indonesia, salah satunya adalah Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS). Salah satu fungsi satelit tersebut adalah melakukan pengiriman citra pada lintasan downlink 2,4 GHz. Tugas Akhir ini dititikberatkan pada pembuatan modulator GMSK sebagai salah satu modul penyusun pada payload satelit. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan perangkat modulator GMSK 19200 baud untuk pengiriman citra pada dari satelit ke stasiun bumi penerima. Modulator GMSK dirancang melalui 2 tahapan, yaitu perancangan dan pembuatan filter Gaussian menggunakan CMX589A serta perancangan dan pembuatan modulator FM menggunakan NE568A dan NE5539. Filter Gaussian yang dirancang berukuran 4×4 cm sedangkan modulator FM berukuran 6,5×2,5 cm. Hasil pengujian dan pengukuran perangkat menunjukan bahwa modulator GMSK mampu bekerja dengan kecepatan transmisi data sebesar 19200 baud. Besarnya baudrate yang dihasilkan telah memenuhi spesisikasi yang dibutuhkan. Frekuensi keluaran modulator GMSK adalah frekuensi 11,71 MHz dengan power spectral -4 dBm. Dari segi ukuran dan konsumsi daya yang rendah, perangkat tersebut dapat ditempatkan pada payload satelit nano
