Analisis Teknis dan Ekonomis Konversi Landing Craft Tank (LCT) Menjadi Self-Propelled Oil Barge (SPOB)

Abstract
Konversi Landing Craft Tank (LCT) menjadi Self - Propelled Oil Barge (SPOB) makin marak dilakukan. Hal ini dilakukan karena LCT sudah tidak dapat digunakan sebagai sarana pengangkut minyak karena secara teknis tidak memenuhi persyaratan sebagai oil tank dan tertuang dalam kebijakan Direktur PT Pertamina Nomor: 754/F34100/2011-SO. Pada penelitian ini akan dibahas mengenai konversi LCT menjadi SPOB serta penambahan satu ruang muat sepanjang 6 meter. Analisa teknis yang dilakukan yaitu kapal hasil konversi harus memenuhi owner’s requirement, harus memenuhi batasan Lambung Timbul minimum berdasarkan Peraturan Garis Muat Indonesia, memenuhi kekuatan memanjang kapal sesuai dengan Rules BKI, serta memenuhi stabilitas kapal berdasarkan IMO. Dari hasil perhitungan didapatkan SPOB Kuda Laut 8 dengan Kapasitas Ruang Muat 202.656 ton Diesel Oil dengan Massa jenis 0.84 tom/m3. Lambung timbul minimum kapal sebesar 231.90 mm dengan sarat kapal maksimal adalah 1.74 m, serta tegangan maksimum kapal sebesar 484.395 kg/cm2 terjadi pada saat kapal mengalami Hogging. Analisa ekonomis dapat dihitung biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan konversi dari Landing Craft Tank menjadi Self-Propelled Oil Barge. Biaya yang harus dikeluarkan untuk melakukan konversi LCT Kuda Laut menjadi SPOB Kuda Laut 8 adalah sebesar 3.036.830.850,00 Rupiah.
