Penggunaan Arang Tempurung Kelapa dan Eceng Gondok untuk Pengolahan Air Limbah Tahu dengan Variasi Konsentrasi

Abstract
Air limbah tahu yang dibuang langsung tanpa pengolahan dapat mencemari badan air. Sesuai dengan hasil laboratorium, air limbah tahu yang dibuang memiliki kandungan nutrien yang tinggi dan tidak memenuhi baku mutu. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut maka diperlukan adanya pengolahan air limbah tahu. Salah satu alternatif pengolahan adalah menggunakan arang tempurung kelapa dan eceng gondok. Kontaminan pada air limbah tahu diharapkan dapat berkurang dengan adanya proses adsorpsi yang dilakukan arang tempurung kelapa dan fitoremediasi yang dilakukan oleh eceng gondok. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi pengaruh konsentrasi air limbah tahu terhadap penurunan NH4, TSS, dan COD yang dilakukan oleh arang tempurung kelapa dan tumbuhan eceng gondok. Variabel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah konsentrasi air limbah 60% dan 50% serta Parameter yang digunakan adalah NH4, TSS, dan COD. Dari hasil penelitian terlihat peningkatan efisiensi dari berbagai macam kerapatan tumbuhan.
