Simulasi Cycle Tempo Pengaruh Kondisi Operasi HPH Off Service terhadap Performa PLTU Paiton Unit 9

Abstract
Feedwater heater yang digunakan pada sistem pembangkit tenaga uap adalah low pressure heater (LPH), high pressure heater (HPH), dan deaerator. PLTU Paiton Unit 9 menggunakan 4 LPH, 3 HPH, dan 1 deaerator. High Pressure Heater (HPH) berfungsi meningkatkan temperatur feedwater yang akan dipanaskan di dalam boiler sehingga penggunaan bahan bakar lebih sedikit. Pada kondisi aktual HPH sering menghadapi masalah sehingga harus dilakukan perbaikan, yang mengharuskan HPH dalam kondisi off service. Kondisi tersebut memengaruhi daya netto, net plant heat rate, dan efisiensi sistem pembangkit. Pada PLTU Paiton Unit 9, apabila salah satu HPH mengalami kerusakan maka seluruh HPH tidak beroperasi karena by pass dipasang dari deaerator langsung menuju ke boiler. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan studi lebih lanjut mengenai pengaruh kondisi off service HPH terhadap performa pembangkit. Analisis dilakukan pada software Cycle Tempo 5.0 dan menggunakan data operasi aktual. Setelah itu memvariasikan simulasi dengan mengatur kondisi operasi HPH, dilakukan dengan mengatur bukaan valve yang masuk ke sisi tube HPH. Hasil penelitian dari variasi kondisi HPH off service yaitu kondisi yang paling optimal adalah kondisi eksisting dengan nilai NPHR terendah yaitu 2452,047 kCal/kWh dan nilai efisiensi sistem tertinggi yaitu 35,236%. Variasi yang paling merugikan adalah variasi HPH 1,2,3 off dengan nilai NPHR terbesar yaitu 2513,818 kCal/kWh dan nilai efisiensi sistem terendah yaitu 34,37%. Dari hasil perhitungan kecepatan fluida di dalam pipa dan beban pemanasan HPH didapatkan hasil bahwa pada variasi kondisi HPH 2 off, HPH 3 off, HPH 2 dan HPH 3 off, serta HPH 1 dan HPH 3 off , terdapat kecepatan fluida ekstraksi ke HPH melebihi kecepatan desain dan beban pemanasan HPH melebihi beban pemanasan maksimum. Hal ini karena laju massa uap ekstraksi ke HPH bertambah secara signifikan, beban pemanasan dari HPH meningkat akibat dari temperatur feedwater yang masuk ke HPH semakin rendah.
