Desain Kapal Pengangkut dan Pengolah Sampah Plastik untuk Kepulauan Seribu

Abstract
Kepulauan Seribu merupakan pulau terluar dari DKI Jakarta yang memiliki masalah serius terkait penumpukan sampah, terutama sampah plastik, di Tempat Pembuangan Sampah Sementara (TPSS) pada 11 pulau berpenduduk. Penumpukan sampah plastik tersebut disebabkan oleh fasilitas kapal pengangkut sampah yang kurang memadai. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendesain kapal yang digunakan untuk mengangkut dan mengolah sampah plastik sesuai dengan kondisi perairan Kepulauan Seribu. Kapal ini akan mengangkut dan mengolah sampah yang menumpuk di Pulau Untung Jawa, Pulau Lancang, dan Pulau Pari. Pada proses pengolahan sampah terdapat tahap pengeringan sampah plastik dan pengolahan sampah plastik menjadi crude oil. Proses desain kapal dimulai dengan menentukan payload dan menentukan luasan yang dibutuhkan dalam kapal. Dari kebutuhan luasan tersebut, dibuat layout awal kapal, sehingga didapatkan ukuran utama awal. Hasil perhitungan teknis diperoleh ukuran utama Kapal Pengangkut dan Pengolah Sampah Plastik sebesar Lpp = 40 m, B = 8 m, T = 2.1 m, H = 5 m, CB = 0.469, Vs = 7 knots. Selanjutnya dari ukuran utama yang diperoleh dibuat Linesplan, General Arrangement, dan Model 3D Kapal. Selain itu, dilakukan juga analisis biaya pembangunan kapal dengan hasil sebesar Rp4.030.557.090,00.
