Kajian Bioaugmentasi pada Air Tanah Tercemar Solar di Kecamatan Gedongtengen, Kota Yogyakarta

Abstract
Solar (diesel oil) merupakan campuran hidrokarbon yang umum digunakan sebagai bahan bakar. Kontaminasi air tanah oleh solar dapat terjadi karena kebocoran pada proses transportasi, serta tangki penyimpanan. Pencemaran solar pada air tanah dapat menimbulkan masalah lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Contoh kasus pencemaran solar pada air tanah terjadi di Yogyakarta pada 1997, di Tasikmalaya pada 2014, dan di Cilacap pada 2019. Bioremediasi adalah metode pendegradasian kontaminan yang memanfaatkan kemampuan mikroorganisme dengan cara mengubah kontaminan manjadi senyawa tidak berbahaya. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah mengalisis penerapan bioremediasi (bioaugmentasi) pada air tanah tercemar solar di Kecamatan Gedongtengen, Yogyakarta, sebagai akibat dari kebocoran tangki penyimpanan solar di Stasiun Tugu Yogyakarta. Bioaugmentasi yang dikaji adalah menggunakan isolat konsorsium bakteri yang terdiri dari bakteri Pseudomonas aeruginosa dan Bacillus subtilis. Jumlah bakteri yang ditambahkan sebanyak 26.250,72 mL x 109 CFU/mL dengan waktu bioaugmentasi selama 12 minggu atau 84 hari. Bioaugmentasi disertai dengan penambahan nutrisi berupa nitrogen dan fosfor, serta oksigen untuk mendukung pertumbuhan bakteri. Persentase degradasi TPH dan benzena sebesar 87% dan 99% dapat menurunkan konsentrasi TPH dari 3,7 mg/L menjadi 0,48 mg/L dan konsentrasi benzena menjadi 0,007 mg/L sehingga memenuhi baku mutu (0,6 mg/L untuk TPH dan 0,01 mg/L untuk benzena).
