Resistensi dan Viabilitas Bacillus S1, SS19 dan DA11 pada Medium yang Terpapar Logam Kadmium (Cd)

Abstract


Abstrak— Keberadaan logam berat  di lingkungan memiliki efek toksik. Upaya untuk mengurangi efek toksik di lingkungan salah satunya menggunakan mikroorganisme yang resisten logam berat. Bacillus S1, SS19 dan DA11 resisten logam kadmium, apakah isolat Bacillus tersebut juga mempunyai viabilitas yang tinggi pada media yang terpapar logam Cd.

Uji rekonfirmasi untuk resistensi genus Bacillus S1, SS19 dan DA11 menggunakan media nutrient agar yang mengandung CdCl2 dengan konsentrasi 10, 20 mg/L dan seterusnya sampai konsentrasi yang dapat ditoleransi isolat. Uji viabilitas dilakukan pada media nutrient broth yang dipapar CdCl2 dengan konsentrasi 10, 20 dan 30 mg/L. Viabilitas divisualisasi dengan bentuk kurva pertumbuhan

Semua isolat Bacillus S1, SS19 dan DA11resisten pada media nutrient agar yang mengandung CdCl2 sampai dengan konsentrasi 30 mg/L.
