Sintesis Nickel – Yttria Stabilized Zirconia (Ni– YSZ) sebagai Anoda Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC)

Abstract


Cermet Nickel–Yttria Stabilized Zirconia (Ni–YSZ) diperoleh dari proses reduksi pada material Nickel Oxide–Yttria Stabilized Zirconia (NiO–YSZ) yang disintesis menggunakan metode reaksi padat dari campuran serbuk NiO–7YSZ (7%mol Y2O3 dan 93%mol ZrO2)–pore former (white starch) dengan perbandingan komposisi massa 4:6:1. Reduksi NiO–YSZ dalam bentuk pelet, dilakukan dengan temperatur reduksi 1000°C selama 3 jam dalam aliran gas 10%H2 dan 90%Ar untuk menghasilkan material Ni–YSZ. Karakterisasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan Difraktometer Sinar–X (XRD). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, cermet Ni–YSZ dihasilkan pada temperatur reduksi 1000°C selama 3 jam dengan kuantitas komposisi fasa YSZ kubik 46,98%, YSZ monoklinik 18,39 %, Ni kubik 31,22% dan NiO kubik 3,40%.
