Sintesis dan Karakterisasi Aurivillius CaBi2Nb2O9 dan LaBi2TiNbO9 dengan Metode Solid State

Abstract


Aurivillius CaBi2Nb2O9 dan LaBi2TiNbO9 telah berhasil disintesis menggunakan metode solid state. Kedua Aurivillius tersebut dianalisa dengan X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) untuk mengetahui struktur dan tingkat kristalinitas, X-Ray Fluorosence (XRF) dan Energi Dispersive X Ray (EDX) untuk analisa konposisi penyusunnya, dan Scanning Electron Mycroscopy (SEM) untuk analisa morfologi permukaan Aurivillius. Kation A dan kation B yang berbeda pada Aurivillius tersebut mengakibatkan perbedaan nilai faktor toleransi perovskit, tingkat kristalinitas, morfologi permukaan, dan space group. Kedua Aurivillius tersebut memiliki struktur ortorombik, CaBi2Nb2O9 memiliki group ruang Fm2m sedangkan LaBi2TiNbO9 yang memiliki group ruang A21am. Lapisan perovskit pada kedua Aurivilliusberhasil terbentuk sempurna dengan nilai faktor toleransi perovskit masing-masing sebesar 0,947 dan 0,962. Morfologi permukaan CaBi2Nb2O9 berbentuk batang sedangkan morfologi LaBi2TiNbO9 berbentuk biji-bijian yang berorientasi acak
