Pengaruh Holding Time Kalsinasi Terhadap Sifat Kemagnetan Barium M-Hexaferrite (BaFe12-xZnxO19) dengan Ion Doping Zn

Abstract


Barium M-heksaferit adalah material dengan anisotropi kristalin yang besar, koersivitas magnet yang cukup tinggi dan secara kimiawi yang stabil. Material ini untuk aplikasi tertentu, sangat disayangkan, sehingga subtitusi ion ke dalam meterial tersebut merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan aplikasi dari material tersebut. Material barium M-heksaferit yang disintesis dengan metode kopresipitasi, telah dikalsinasi dengan variasi holding time 2 jam, 3 jam, 4 jam, 5 jam, 6 jam,  dan 10 jam pada temperatur kalsinasi 150ºC. Material barium M-heksaferit disintesis dimana HCl sebagai pelarut dan NH4OH digunakan dalam proses pengendapan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, fase barium M-heksaferit terbanyak diperoleh pada kalsinasi dengan holding time 4 jam sebesar 72,54% dan mempunyai nilai koersivitas dan remanensi yaitu 0,0082 kA/m dan 0,01 Tesla serta mempunyai nilai magnetisasi tertinggi yaitu 0,55 emu/gram.
