Abstract


Fabrikasi dan karakterisasi Directional coupler dan double coupler pada bahan serat optik plastik step index multimode tipe FD-620-10 dengan panjang kopling 28 mm dan 34 mm menggunakan pendekatan metode Fused Biconical Tapered (FBT) yang menghasilkan hasil karakterisasi yang berbeda serta memenuhi standar fabrikasi.  Hasil karakterisasi directional coupler dan double coupler menggunakan web camera dan BF5R-D1-N didapatkan parameter CR (Coupling Ratio), Le (Excess Loss), Lins (Insertion Loss) dan D (Directivity). Pada directional coupler, menggunakan web camera nilai CR=0,5003; Le=0,08 dB; Lins=3,093; dan D=17,397 dB serta menggunakan BF5R-D1-N nilai CR=0,491; Le=0,109 dB; Lins=3,045; dan D=16,045 dB. Dan pada double coupler, menggunakan web camera nilai CR=0,498; Le=0,109 dB; Lins=3,1; dan D=16,072 dB serta menggunakan BF5R-D1-N nilai CR=0,492 ; Le=0,148 dB ; Lins=3,092; dan D=14,755 dB.
