Pengaruh Ekstrak Daun Beluntas (Pluchea indica) terhadap Mortalitas dan Perkembangan Larva Spodoptera litura F.

Abstract

Beluntas (Pluchea indica)merupakan salah satu tumbuhan yang belum dimanfaatkan. Beluntas merupakan salah satu tumbuhan yang memiliki kandungan senyawa bioaktif metabolit sekunder, senyawa tersebut antara lain tannin, alkanoid, flavonoid dan saponin. Senyawa metabolit sekunder dapat memberikan efek toksik terhadap hama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan besar konsentrasi ekstrak daun beluntas terhadap mortalitas dan perkembangan S. litura F. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode maserasi dan leaf dipping. Parameter yang diamati adalah mortalitas dan pembentukan pupa. Ekstrak daun beluntas berpotensi sebagai insektisida nabati terhadap hama S. litura F. Konsentrasi ekstrak kontrol, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, dan 90% pada perlakuan 24 jam mampu memperoleh nilai LC50 sebesar 28%. Sehingga dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan dengan menghambat pembentukan pupa.
