Sinergisme Antar Isolat Azotobacter Yang Dikonsorsiumkan

Abstract

Konsorsium mikroorganisme merupakan campuran populasi mikroba dalam bentuk komunitas yang mempunyai hubungan kooperatif,  komensal, dan mutualistik. Secara alamiah, bakteri mampu berkomunikasi satu dengan yang lainnya. Hubungan antar bakteri dapat mempunyai hubungan sinergis jika substrat cukup dan antara bakteri tidak saling menghambat pertumbuhan. Pada penelitian ini akan dikonsorsiumkan isolat Azotobacter A1b, A3, A6, A9, dan A10 yang diisolasi dari Lahan Eco Urban Farming ITS. Apakah kelima isolat tersebut dapat bersinergi satu dengan yang lainnya. Uji sinergisme menggunakan teknik streak plate pada media Azotobacter agar. Masing-masing isolat digoreskan secara bersinggungan. Diinkubasi 24 jam dan diamati pertumbuhannya. Semua isolat yang diuji sinergisme terhadap isolat yang lain tidak menunjukkan adanya zona hambat pada persinggungan antar isolat. Artinya masing-masing isolat dapat bersinergi satu dengan yang lainnya.
