Aktifitas Enzim Lignin Peroksidase oleh Gliomastix sp. T3.7 pada Limbah Bonggol Jagung dengan Berbagai pH dan Suhu

Abstract
Enzim Lignin Peroksidase (LiP) merupakan enzim ekstraseluler yang mempunyai manfaat dalam berbagai bidang industri. Gliomastix sp. merupakan salah satu spesies yang mempunyai kemampuan mendegradasi lignin paling besar diantara kapang koleksi laboratorium Mikrobiologi dan Bioteknologi ITS lainnya, sehingga diduga memiliki aktifitas enzim lignin peroksidase (LiP) yang besar pula. Aktifitas enzim dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya suhu dan pH. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pH dan suhu yang berbeda terhadap aktivitas enzim lignin peroksidase dari Gliomastix sp. yang ditumbuhkan pada limbah bonggol jagung. Uji aktifitas enzim Lignin peroksidase dilakukan dengan menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis Boeco 22. Aktifitas Lignin Peroksidase (LiP) diukur pada panjang gelombang 310 nm dengan menggunakan Veratryl alkohol sebagai substrat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Gliomastix sp. T3.7 merupakan kapang yang mampu menghasilkan enzim Lignin Peroksidase pada limbah bonggol jagung, dimana aktifitas enzim LiP maksimum terdapat pada pH 6 dan suhu 350C sebesar 8,088 U/ml
