Sintesis Multiferoik BiFeO3 Berbasis Pasir Besi dengan Metode Sol Gel

Abstract


Multiferoik BiFeO3 telah berhasil disintesis dengan metode Sol Gel yang berbasis pasir besi (Pantai Jolosutro, Blitar. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode Sol Gel dengan variasi suhu kalsinasi antara 250°C - 500°C dengan waktu penahanan selama 1 jam pada tungku tabung yang dialiri gas nitrogen. Hasil sintesis dikarakterisasi dengan uji XRD (X-ray Difraction). Multiferoik BiFeO3 yang disintesis menggunakan metode sol gel memiliki kemurnian  93,13%. Ukuran kristal yang dihasilkan pada rentang suhu kalsinasi tersebut antara 7,2 nm – 62,4 nm. Nilai susebtibilitas bahan semakin meningkat yang mengidentifikasikan bahan bersifat feromagnetik.
