Aplikasi Directional Coupler dan Double Coupler sebagai Sensor Pergeseran Mikro

Abstract

Directional coupler dan double coupler dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi sensor pergeseran mikro dengan prinsip penjalaran gelombang cahaya yang tercoupling pada setiap daerah couplingnya. Eksperimen ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan mikrometer yang di pasang cermin datar pada ujung poros putar sebagai komponen pergeseran. Berdasarkan eksperimen yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua jenis divais ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sensor pergeseran mikro dengan performansi yang cukup baik. Adapun parameter-parameter sensor pergeseran untuk masing-masing directional coupler dan double coupler adalah besar jangkauan 4160 μm dan 4700 μm, daerah kerja 3180 μm dan 2420 μm, serta sensitivitas 0,0661 au/ μm dan 0,0445 au/ μm.
