Efektifitas Pertumbuhan Jamur Tiram Putih (Pleurotus ostreatus) dengan Variasi Media Kayu Sengon (Paraserianthes falcataria) dan Sabut Kelapa (Cocos nucifera)

Abstract
Jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus) merupakan salah satu jenis jamur kayu yang biasa dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Nutrisi utama yang diperlukan oleh jamur tiram putih antara lain karbohidrat (Selulosa, Hemiselulosa dan Lignin), protein, lemak, mineral dan Vitamin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah sabut kelapa kering (Cocos nucifera) dapat menjadi media pertumbuhan jamur tiram putih dan jumlah sabut kelapa kering (Cocos nucifera) yang paling efektif untuk pertumbuhan jamur tiram putih. Perlakuan media jamur tiram putih yang diberikan merupakan perbandingan serbuk kayu Sengon : sabut kelapa, jumlahnya yaitu (100%), (90%:10%), (80%:20%), (70%:30%), (60%:40%), (50%:50%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan miselium terbaik pada kultur F1 terjadi pada kadar sabut kelapa 50% selama 24 hari sebesar 9,75 cm. Pertumbuhan miselium pada kultur F2, yang paling mendekati kontrol adalah 20% sabut kelapa dengan hasil 9,875 pada waktu inkubasi 18 hari. Pada kultur F3, pertumbuhan miselium yang paling mendekati kontrol adalah perlakuan 50% sabut kelapa yaitu 16,75 cm dalam waktu inkubasi 30 hari. Umur panen terbaik ditunjukkan pada kadar media 100% serbuk kayu Sengon dengan umur 65,75 hari, disusul dengan perlakuan 50% sabut kelapa dengan umur 70,25 hari. Berat panen terbaik ditunjukkan pada perlakuan 50% sabut kelapa dengan berat panen 128,75 gram
