Estimasi Poisson’s Ratio untuk Analisis Derajat Saturasi Air pada Reservoir Geotermal Menggunakan Data MEQ

Abstract

Lapangan “Mar” merupakan lapangan di Indonesia yang memproduksi sumber energi geotermal. Untuk memantau kondisi reservoir geotermal dapat dilakukan dengan analisis gelombang microearthquake (MEQ). Data MEQ diolah dengan cara melakukan picking terhadap waktu tiba gelombang P (t_p) dan waktu tiba gelombang S (t_s) untuk menentukan hiposenter event MEQ. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis dengan diagram Wadati untuk menentukan nilai v_p/v_s di setiap lokasi event MEQ sehingga dapat diestimasi distribusi nilai Poisson’s ratio pada batuan di reservoir geotermal. Poisson’s ratio merupakan sifat elastisitas batuan yang mengindikasikan tingkat rekahan yang mana bernilai lebih tinggi pada batuan yang tersaturasi air daripada batuan pada kondisi normal. Distribusi persebaran nilai Poisson’s ratio digunakan untuk menganalisis derajat saturasi air dengan mengorelasikannya terhadap data resistivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan telah diperoleh 135 lokasi hiposenter MEQ dengan distribusi nilai Poisson’s ratio bervariasi dari 0,101 sampai 0,448. Zona dengan nilai derajat saturasi air yang tinggi diindikasikan oleh zona dengan sebaran distribusi nilai Poisson’s ratio yang tinggi dan nilai resistivitas yang rendah.
