Pemodelan Angka Putus Sekolah Usia Wajib Belajar Menggunakan Metode Regresi Spasial di Jawa Timur

Abstract
Salah satu tujuan Milennium Development Goals (MDGs) yaitu pendidikan dasaruntuk semua masyarakat.Pendidikanuntuk semua menjadi prioritas bagi bangsa Indonesia. Sebab partisipasi masyarakatIndonesia yang memenuhi usia wajib belajar masih sangat rendah atau angka putus sekolah (APS)masih relatif tinggi. Aspek spasial inipenting untuk dikaji, karena antara satu wilayah dengan wilayah lain mempunyaiperbedaan karakteristik. Keragaman karakteristik antar kabupaten/kota di JawaTimur menentukan kualitas pendidikan pada daerah tersebut. Hal ini diperkuatdengan uji Morans’I yang menunjukanbahwa data memiliki Dependensi spasial. Hasil pemodelan dengan Spasial ErrorModel (SEM) lebih baik daripada model regresi global dikarenakan memiliki R2yang lebih besar dan AIC yang lebih kecil. Oleh karena itu aspek spasialberkaitan dengan APS usia wajib belajar di Jawa Timur.
