Pemodelan Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Jumlah Hiv dan Aids Provinsi Jawa Timur Menggunakan Regresi Poisson Bivariat

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang faktor yang mempengaruhiHIV dan AIDS di  kabupaten dan kota diJawa Timur. Kasus HIV dan AIDS merupakankedua kasus yang berbeda tetapi mempunyaiketerkaitan satu dengan yang lain, karena itu regresi poisson bivariat diduga menjadimetode yang baik untuk memodelkanjumlah kasus HIV dan jumlah kasus AIDS.Terdapat tiga buah model regresi poisson bivariat yang dibangun. Nilai parameter yangdidapatkan dari ketiga buah regresi tersebut berbeda-beda, karena itu perlumemilih salah satu dari ketiga model tersebut.Model terbaik dari regresi poisson bivariatadalah model dengan nilai                         melibatkanvariabel prediktor. Pada model terbaiktidak semua variabel prediktor berpengaruh terhadap respon jumlah kasus AIDS.Variabel prediktor yang berpengaruh pada model jumlah kasus AIDS adalahpersentase penduduk tamat SMA, persentase pengguna kondom, persentase pendudukkelompok umur 25-29 tahun, persentase daerah berstatus desa dan persentasependuduk miskin di tiap kabupaten dan kota.
