Penerapan Konsep Material Lightweight pada Desain Amphibious House

Abstract
Kota Pekalongan merupakan salah satu kota yang terkena bencana banjir rob setiap tahunnya. Banjir rob sendiri dalam setahun bisa melanda beberapa kali. Salah satu wilayah yang paling parah terkena dampak banjir rob ini adalah daerah pesisir Pantai Sari Pekalongan. Banjir yang merendam rumah warga menjadikan rumah cepat rusak dan permukiman warga pun menjadi terkesan kumuh, karena banyaknya rumah yang rusak dan lingkungan yang menjadi kotor akibat genangan air banjir. Dengan isu banjir yang melanda permukiman, maka warga membutuhkan solusi bagi permukiman agar bisa hidup berdampingan dengan banjir. Dilakukan redesain pada wilayah permukiman warga, dimana dibuat sistem baru untuk bangunan rumah untuk menghadapi banjir. Metode yang digunakan adalah force-based framework, dimana banjir sebagai penggerak utama dalam menentukan tujuan desain, dan konsep yang keluar pun merespon adanya banjir rob dan juga lingkungan sekitar, berupa desain unit rumah dengan material lightweight. Bangunan juga menggunakan sistem amfibi yang dikombinasikan dengan sistem modular dan memperhatikan material-material yang ramah lingkungan dan ringan agar mudah terapung.
