Isolasi dan dentifiasi Bakteri Penambat Nitrogen Non Simbiotik pada Lahan Restorasi dengan Metode Legume Cover Crop (LCC) Di Daerah Pasirian Lumajang Jawa Timur

Abstract
Penerapan LCC menggunakan kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea) pada lahan pertanian kritis akan mampu meningkatkan kesuburan tanah. Sistem LCC menghasilkan lingkungan perakaran yang sesuai bagi pertumbuhan bakteri. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kelimpahan dan mengidentifikasi genus bakteri penambat nitrogen non simbiotik pada lahan restorasi di Pasirian, Lumajang dengan penerapan metode LCC. Kelimpahan Bakteri dihitung dengan metode Total Plate Count (TPC). Proses isolasi bakteri diawali dengan pengenceran bertingkat dan didentifikasi berdasarkan Bergey’s Manual of Determinative Bacteriology. Hasil penelitian didapatkan populasi bakteri penambat N non simbiotik di lahan pertanian Pasirian sebelum LCC adalah sebesar 2,7x105 CFU/g dan setelah LCC adalah sebesar 1,8x106 CFU/g, serta didapatkan 30 isolat bakteri penambat nitrogen non simbiotik yang mengarah pada genus Azotobacter, Beijerinckia, dan Derxia. Azotobacter merupakan bakteri gram negatif cocoid, Beijerinckia merupakan bakteri gram negatif basil, dengan katalase positif dan Derxia merupakan bakteri gram negatif basil dengan katalase negatif
