Efektifitas Modifikasi Habitat Lahan Tembakau (Nicotiana tabacum L.) Menggunakan Insectary Plant Helianthus annuus Terhadap Tingkat Kerusakan Daun Tembakau

Abstract
Serangga herbivora banyak ditemukan di berbagai habitat, termasuk di ekosistem lahan tembakau. Serangga herbivora sebagai hama dapat menimbulkan kerugian bagi petani tembakau, bahkan disetiap tahunnya mencapai 10-40%, sehingga mengakibatkan penurunan produktivitas dan mutu tembakau. Modifikasi habitat yang dilakukan pada lahan tembakau yaitu dengan menggunakan insectary plant Helianthus annuus membentuk perimeter mengelilingi tanaman tembakau Nicotiana tabacum L. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas modifikasi habitat lahan tembakau Nicotiana tabacum L. Menggunakan insectary plant Helianthus annuus terhadap tingkat kerusakan daun tembakau. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lahan tembakau Purwosari, Pasuruan, Jawa Timur dan analisa sampel di laboratorium Zoologi Biologi FMIPA ITS. Alat-alat yang digunakan adalah Sweep Net, Yellow Pan Trap, kuas, pinset, botol sampel mikroskop dan lampu pemanas. Sedangkan bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah serangga herbivor, chloroform, kapas dan alkohol 70%. Dari data pengambilan sampel kerusakan daun pada lahan penelitian, didapatkan rata-rata total dari ketiga data kerusakan daun, yakni daun tembakau pada lahan modifikasi, daun tembakau pada lahan kontrol dan daun Helianthus annuus secara berturut-turut adalah 28.660%, 50.831% dan 84.123%. Dari ketiga data kerusakan daun pada penelitian didapat kerusakan daun tembakau kontrol lebih tinggi 22.171% dari tembakau pada lahan modofikasi habitat. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi habitat lahan tembakau menggunakan insectary plant Helianthus annuus efektif menurunkan tingkat kerusakan daun pada tembakau.
