Preparasi Membran Zeolit-X/α-Al2O3 Menggunakan Metode Secondary Growth dengan Variasi Vacuum Seeding

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan preparasi membran Zeolit-X/α-Al2O3 menggunakan metode secondary growth dengan teknik vacuum seeding. Pada proses seeding dilakukan sebanyak satu (M1), dua (M2), dan tiga kali (M3) dengan satu kali waktu seeding adalah 90 detik. Membran Alumina, seed Zeolit-X, dan membran Zeolit-X/α-Al2O3 dikarakterisasi menggunakan XRD (X-Ray Diffraction), PSA (Particle Size Analyzer), SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy), dan FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared). Permeabilitas N2 dan O2 pada membran Zeolit-X/α-Al2O3 hasil preparasi adalah 1,52×10-6 dan 8,76×10-10 mol.m-2.s-1.Pa-1. Hasil uji permeasi gas N2 dan O2 menunjukkan bahwa membran M2 adalah yang memiliki kinerja terbaik.
