Analisa Pengaruh Cu2+ pada Penentuan Fe dengan Pereduksi Asam Askorbat Menggunakan Metode Spektrofotometer UV-Vis

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan seberapa besar konsentrasi Cu2+ mulai mengganggu analisis Fe dengan menggunakan metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Analisis tersebut dilakukan dengan menambahkan dengan sengaja ion Cu2+ ke dalam kompleks Fe(II)-fenantrolin yang telah diketahui panjang gelombang maksimumnya, kemudian diukur persen recovery, standar deviasi relatif (RSD), dan koefisien variasi (CV). Sugiarso dkk. (2019) melakukan penelitian yang membuktikan bahwa asam askorbat baik dalam mereduksi karena memiliki pH optimum 4,5; waktu optimum 15 menit dalam konsentrasi 5 ppm; memiliki persen recovery sebesar 98,068%, tetapi asam askorbat tidak dilakukan uji gangguan oleh ion Cu2+. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa panjang gelombang maksimum kompleks Fe(II)-fenantrolin 510 nm, standar deviasi relatif didapat sebesar 4,13 ppt, sedangkan CV sebesar 0,413% di mana harga tersebut berada dalam kategori baik, serta konsentrasi ion Cu2+ mulai mengganggu pada 0,8 ppm dengan persen recovery sebesar 94,53%.
