Analisis Aliran Konveksi Campuran Fluida Viskoelastik Melewati Bola Teriris yang Dipengaruhi Medan Magnet

Abstract
Magnetohidrodinamik (MHD) merupakan aliran khusus yang akhir-akhir ini sering diteliti. Aliran Magnetohidrodinamik mempelajari tentang aliran fluida yang dipengaruhi oleh medan magnet dan dapat menghantarkan aliran listrik. Pada penelitian ini, akan dibahas terkait aliran konveksi campuran fluida viskoelastik melewati bola pejal teriris yang dipengaruhi medan magnet. Persamaan pembangun dibangun dari persamaan kontinuitas, momentum, dan energi. Aliran fluida viskoelastik tersebut mengalir dari bawah dan melewati bola pejal teriris yang kemudian menimbulkan lapisan batas (boundary layer). Persamaan lapisan batas tersebut kemudian ditransformasikan ke bentuk non-dimensional menggunakan variabel non-dimensional dan selanjutnya diubah ke persamaan similaritas menggunakan fungsi alir (Stream function). Persamaan similaritas kemudian diselesaikan secara numerik menggunakan metode Keller-Box. Hasil numerik yang diperoleh berupa profil temperatur dan kecepatan fluida dengan variasi parameter magnetik, parameter konveksi, parameter viskoelastik, Bilangan Prandtl, dan variasi sudut irisan bola. Hasil simulasi numerik menunjukkan semakin besar parameter konveksi, parameter magnetik dan besar sudut irisan bola maka semakin meningkat pula profil kecepatannya atau berbanding lurus, sedangkan untuk parameter viskoelastik dan Bilangan Prandtl berbanding terbalik dengan profil kecepatan . Untuk profil temperatur meningkat ketika parameter viskoelastik meningkat atau berbanding lurus, sedangkan parameter magnetik, parameter konveksi, Bilangan Prandtl, dan variasi sudut irisan berbanding terbalik.
